PLATFORM INSTALLATION3-7Edition OneXC1000 Service3. Remove the remaining three sides and the top of the crate.4. Using a 9/ 16-inch socket wrench, remove the ramp from the inside ofthe front well. Set the ramp aside.5. Remove the four 9/ 16-inch bolts that secure the XC1000 cabinet to thepallet.6. Remove the four 9/ 16-inch lag bolts from the sides of the well inwhich the cabinet is secured. Remove the 2- by 6-inch board that wassecured by these bolts.7. Align the two holes on one end of the ramp with the two holes in thepallet. The pallet holes are located on the well side where the boltswere removed in step 6.8. Using two of the 9/ 16-inch bolts, secure the ramp to the pallet.9. Tighten the four 9/ 16-inch bolts located on the edges of the well.Tightening the bolts raises the XC1000 above the casters, in prepara-tion for rolling the cabinet down the ramp.Be careful when rolling the XC1000 down the ramp.Serious personal injury could result if the XC1000 is tiltedenough to fall on someone or is moved in a manner to pin aperson against a hard surface. The XC1000 could also bedamaged.Warning!10. Using caution, roll the cabinet down the ramp, out of the crate.3.5 INSTALLING THE XC1000The cabinets in a dual-cabinet XC1000 must be bolted together before theyare installed on the floor mounts. Secure and level both single- anddual-cabinet XC1000s on the floor mount, using the correct procedures.Because a single-cabinet XC1000 weighs as much as 700 pounds (317.5kg), placing the XC1000 on the floor mount requires several people. TheXC1000 can be mounted on a concrete or raised floor.Be careful when moving the XC1000 to the operatinglocation and placing the cabinets onto the floor mount.Serious personal injury could result if the XC1000 is tiltedenough to fall on someone or is moved in a manner to pin aperson against a hard surface.
