The MSLU is a PC that allows a single XC1000 to support integratedtelephone answering for extensions on up to seven switches. The MSLU cansupport up to seven separate simplified-message-desk-interface (SMDI) linksfrom PBXs or individual #1AESS, #5ESS, DMS-100, and SL-100 switches.XC1000s are equipped with three RS-232 ports for multiple SMDI linkaccess.
