If thereare multiple languages, load each set of phrase diskettes independently.15.11 BEGIN THE AUTOMATIC UPGRADEPhrase upgrades and software upgrades are independent of each other.However, the upgrade processes are identical. Both upgrade processesrequire use of the Begin Automatic Upgrade option from the OnlineUpgrade Main Menu (Figure 15-33).Make sure to upgrade any necessary phrases before asoftware upgrade. If unsure whether both phrases andsoftware or software only should be upgraded, contact theOctel National Response Center (for national accounts) orthe Octel Technical Assistance Center before beginning.Caution!Phrase upgrades are necessary only when phrases have changed betweensoftware levels. If phrases have changed between software levels within aparticular language (or multiple languages), a separate phrase upgrade foreach changed language must be performed. Perform phrase upgrades beforeupgrading software.1. At the Online Upgrade Main Menu, use the up-arrow key to select theBegin Automatic Upgrade option, then press the Enter key. Pre-viously loaded software and phrase diskette groups are displayed inthe UPG Directories menu on the screen. Figure 15-41 shows the UPGDirectories menu.2. Use the down-arrow key to select the appropriate software (or phrase)UPG name, MS300XXX.SSU (or 9033XXXX.SPU, if appropriate).If unsure which UPG name to select, check the UPG number on thelabels of the diskettes that were loaded in section 15.10.
