ROUTINE MAINTENANCE5-11Edition OneXC1000 Service5.6 MEASURING POWER AND GROUNDThe power and ground should be measured monthly. To check the powerand ground, perform the following steps:1. Open the rear doors of the XC1000.2. Locate the +5-Vdc and +12 Vdc-test points on the main distributionboard, as shown in Figure 5-5. Voltage test points for +5 Vdc and +12Vdc are located at the lower right corner of the main distributionboard. The test points are TP1 (return), TP2 (+5 Vdc), and TP3 (+12Vdc). A second set of test points is located at the lower middle of theboard. Remove the cover to the power-distribution shelf.4. Locate the + and – points for the –48 Vdc power supply, as shown inFigure 5-6. Using a voltmeter, measure across the + and – points.Verify that the power source supplies 43 to 56 Vdc. When the positive,SECTION 5.6
