Use the procedure in section 11to add the bad track to the bad-track table. Stage 90. The FCP conversion program downloads the final softwarefiles. Stage 91. The FCP conversion program downloads additional phrasesand prompt tables for release 3.0X software. If any CB messages arelogged, a bad track might have been encountered. Use the procedure(section 11) to add the bad track to the bad track table. Stage 100. The FCP conversion program boots the voice processor andaccesses the menu 20 utilities. The program updates the phraseversion and copies software and phrase tables from area A to area B.Change the attendant schedules and communities to user records ifconverting from Release 1.5X. If any CB messages are logged duringthe copy process, a bad track might have been encountered. Contactthe National Response Center (for national accounts) or the OctelTechnical Assistance Center for assistance. Stage 110. The FCP conversion re-installs system drive one. Duringthis installation process, CB errors might indicate that a bad trackhas been encountered. With Release 3.X, bad tracks can be added to adrive that is not installed. Use the procedure in section 11 to add thebad track to the bad track table. Follow the appropriate steps,depending on whether the error was encountered during a message orphrase copy. Stage 111. This stage does not apply to XC1000. Stage 112. The FCP conversion program uses the information storedat stage 20 to reconfigure menu 6.3. Stage 120. When prompted, enable all ports so that calls can bemade to the voice processor. The FCP conversion program boots thevoice processor with an A.14.13 MESSAGE AND PHRASE REPAIRUse the message or phrase repair procedures to correct CB messagesencountered during message or phrase operations.Repair a message or phrase by performing the following steps:1. Write down the message ID and scramble code, located below the CBerror.2. From the FCP Conversion Main Menu, select option 3 to perform SMTEmulation.3. From the Enter Boot Command: prompt, type ^DU to enter menu 20.4. Type the number corresponding to the Message Utilities option.5. Type the number corresponding to the Message ID to Physical Addressoption.6. At the Enter Message Id (Hex): prompt, enter the message ID.SECTION 14.12 – 14.13
