Example of the Display Status Log Utility.16.12 TOGGLE EXTENDED PRINTUse the Toggle Extended Print utility to toggle the display of details whencertain utilities are run. Extended print refers to the variable informationdisplayed on the screen while certain utilities are run. For example, whenthe Make Phrase Areas A and B Redundant utility runs, phrases arechecked. If extended print is on, the XC1000 displays the message IDs asthey are processed. If extended print is off, the XC1000 does not displaythe message IDs. If a printer is attached to the system and is online,information displayed on the screen is sent to the printer. However, thevariable information sent to the printer is continuously overwritten and isunreadable. It is recommended that extended print be turned off whenevera printer is connected to the XC1000 while running a utility that displaysvariable information.Selecting this utility while extended print is on displays a prompt to turnextended print off.
