Entries in thestatus log are used to monitor and troubleshoot the system. The information in this chapter can be used to interpret the structureand meaning of the most common status-code entries. The status log can be viewed and printed by entering menu 13, option 2,on the system manager terminal. Status codes are located at offsets 04 and 05 in a status-log entry. A status-code 00 entry appears each time the system is restarted. Line–task (port) or integration errors generate the most entries. The start of the CB message varies with each status-code entry. The most serious status-code entries are 57, 64, 70, 72, 98, CD, andCE. Act immediately to correct any of these situations. Garbage collect should not be run if user records have been damaged.SECTION 7.3 – 7.4
