Measure the pulser coil output peak volt-age. Replace the pulser coil if belowspecification.TIP:• When measuring the pulser coil outputpeak voltage under the unloaded crankingcondition is done, disconnect the couplera.• When measuring the pulser coil outputpeak voltage under the loaded crankingcondition is done, remove the clip from theengine shut-off switch to prevent the enginefrom starting.3.
