6-18Throttle link012345678910AChecking the throttle link1. Check the throttle lever 1, roller and throt-tle cam. Replace if cracked or worn.2. Check the throttle lever 2, and throttle linkrod. Replace if cracked or worn.3. Check the spring. Replace if fatigued ordeformed.Installing the throttle link1. Install the roller a, washer b, wavewasher c, and collar d onto the throttlelever 1 e.2. Install the throttle lever 1 e to the cylin-der block.3. When setting the spring f onto the throt-tle cam g, make sure to fit the end a ofthe spring into the slot b in the throttlecam g and then install the washer h,wave washer i, and collar j onto thethrottle cam g.4. Install the throttle cam g to the cylinderblock. Make sure to fit the end c of thespring on the projection d in the cylinderblock.5. Install the throttle link rod k, washer l,wave washer m, and collar n onto thethrottle lever 2 o.6. Install the throttle lever 2 o to the cylin-der block.7. Install the throttle link rod k to the throt-tle cam g.8. Check that the throttle lever 1 e, throttlecam g and throttle control lever 2 o,move smoothly.ad bceghfijabdggdcklmnogk
