9-47BRKT Bracket unitDisassembling the gear pumpassembly1. Remove the PTT motor assembly. See“Removing the PTT motor” (9-41).2. Remove the bolts a and b, and thenremove the gear pump assembly c.3. Remove the O-rings d, e, valve pin f,and valve seat assembly g.4. Remove the filters h, down-relief valvei, and O-ring j.5. Remove the gear pump cover k, andthen remove the gears l, shuttle pistonsm, and balls n, o.6. Remove the spring p, absorber valve pinq, ball r, and up-relief valve seat s andO-ring t.7. Blow compressed air through the holes aand b to remove the main valves u.WARNING! Never look into the gearpump housing opening while removingthe main valves because the mainvalves and PTT fluid could be forcefullyexpelled out.8. Remove the manual valve v.Checking the gear pump1.
