Lightly tap the valve spring retainer with aplastic hammer to set the valve cotters gsecurely.Installing the cylinder head1. Install a new gasket and the cylinderhead, and then tighten the bolts to thespecified torques in the sequence num-bers (a, b, · · ·). Apply engine oil to thecylinder head bolts before installation.NOTICE: Do not reuse the cylinderhead gasket, always replace it with anew one.TIP:Tighten the M10 bolts to the specifiedtorques in 2 stages first, and then make amark a on the M10 bolts and the cylinderhead, and then tighten the bolts 90° from themark.2.
