9-34PTT unit012345678910AChecking the hydraulic pressureCheck the hydraulic pressure. If out of speci-fication, check the internal parts.1. Fully extend the PTT rams.2. Remove the reservoir cap a, and thencheck the fluid level in the reservoir.WARNING! Make sure that the PTTrams are fully extended when removingthe reservoir cap a, otherwise fluid canspurt out from the unit due to internalpressure.TIP:If the fluid is at the correct level, a smallamount of fluid should overflow out of thefiller hole when the reservoir cap is removed.3. If the fluid is below the correct level, addthe recommended fluid.4. Install the reservoir cap a, and thentighten it to the specified torque.5. Remove the circlip b, and then removethe manual valve c.6. Install the special service tools d and e.TIP:Quickly install the special service tools beforeany fluid flows out of the hole.7. Connect the PTT motor leads to thebattery terminals to fully retract the PTTrams.Recommended PTT fluid: ATF Dexron ΙΙghaReservoir cap a:0.7 N·m (0.07 kgf·m, 0.5 ft·lb)Up relief fitting d: 90890-06773/06838Hydraulic pressure gauge e:90890-06776/06800bcdeB B/W
