Align the hole a in the dog clutch g withthe hole b in the propeller shaft.TIP:Install the dog clutch g with the “F” mark cfacing toward the shift rod joint f.3. Install the cross pin h, and then installthe spring i.Assembling the propeller shafthousing assembly• Use heat-resistant gloves, otherwiseburns could result.• Remove any flammable substances,such as gasoline and oil, around theworking area to avoid the risk of fire.• Heat the propeller shaft housing in awell-ventilated area.Do not reuse the bearing, always replaceit with a new one.1.
