9-31BRKT Bracket unit10. Apply grease into the grease nipples untilgrease comes out from the bushings c.Adjusting the trim sensor cam1. Fully tilt the swivel bracket down.2. Loosen the trim sensor cam screw a.3. Adjust the trim sensor cam b so that thetrim sensor setting resistance is withinspecification.TIP:• To decrease the resistance, turn the trimsensor cam in direction c.• To increase the resistance, turn the trimsensor cam in direction d.4. Tighten the trim sensor cam screw a.TIP:Check the trim sensor resistance again aftertightening the trim sensor cam screw a.5. Fully tilt the swivel bracket up, and thensupport it with the tilt stop lever c.WARNING! After tilting up the swivelbracket, make sure to support it withthe tilt stop lever. Otherwise, theswivel bracket could suddenly lower.6. Check the trim sensor resistance. If theresistance is out of specification, adjustthe trim sensor cam position again andcheck the trim sensor individually.
