CHAPTER 4 - SYSTEM OPERATIONLightsheet Z.1 Left Tool Area and Hardware Control Tools Carl Zeiss02/2013 000000-1790-528 1673.4.2 Maintain – FiltersExpand the Filters tool to define the filters present inthe Reflector Turret for Laser Blocking Filters as well asin the Reflector Turret for Emission Selection for yourLightsheet Z.1 system as will be shown in the ZENsoftware.Laser blocking filters are easily exchangeable push andclick filter cubes. The beam splitters cannot beexchanged, but the associated emission filters can beexchanged.On the top is a row of tabs for every filter position. Toreach the right most tab, press the white arrow onthe right side of the row. If you press the white arrowon the right side that points downwards, a list of allpossible tabs are displayed. Here you can chose whichfilters to edit.In each tab you find a list of positions that relate tothe positions in the corresponding reflector turret.The Laser Blocking Filter tab represents theReflector Turret for Laser Blocking Filters (Fig. 261).These are push & click filters which can be easilyexchanged.The Beam Splitter, Emission Filter 1, and EmissionFilter 2 tabs (Fig. 262) describe the filters of theTurret for Emission Selection. Each row of these tabsrepresents one position in the turret, and all threetogether represent one filter combination. Only theEmission Filter 1 (in front of Cam1) and theEmission Filter 2 (in front of Cam2) can beexchanged by the user (see CHAPTER 1 HARDWARE).To update the filter information in the software, presson the filter symbol you would like to edit. This willopen a box listing the Recent used filters in the upperpart (Fig. 263). In the lower part are listed all availableFilters which can be searched by entering the full orpart of the name into the Search field.
