This will activate the function that data is saved and automatically written to the hard driveduring the acquisition process, so when image acquisition is disrupted, the data up to this point will beavailable. This is advisable and should be activated by default since large datasets can be acquired with theLightsheet Z.1 system. If you have a storage and analysis PC you wish to stream onto, make sure that the directory ismapped. When you turn on the PC for system control after the storage and analysis PC iscompletely booted, the directory is mapped automatically.Activated Streaming will enhance the speed by which .czi datasets are opened. Before an Experiment is started, a Windowsexplorer window will open. Here the destination ofthe streaming and a file name can be chosen. Theimage series will then be saved with this file nameextended by the exact date and time of the imageacquisition. The data can be separated into separate files, defined by chosen dimensions. More than onedimension can be selected. As a default for laterLightsheet Processing, Time is activated andshould remain this way. It will generate the filestructure for later Lightsheet Processing, MultiviewProcessing and Online Multiview Processing. In the Dimension selection field, you can define how the image series is saved. For each dimension, youcan define by ticking the respective Separate Files checkbox to save this dimension into separate files. The file names of the single files will have extensions of a letter indicating the dimension (t for time series,z for Z-Stack, etc.) preceding a number that indicates the frame number from the series. If none ischecked, the whole image series will be saved into one file.Fig. 268 Streaming tool window
