It is used to control and monitortemperature and CO2 supply to the sample environment. The TempModule S1 is required for all of thevarious configurations.− The configuration dependent modules should be placed on a level surface next to the system andare stacked on top of each other (Fig. 31). For further information see the individual componentmanuals from PeCon.The installation of incubation modules on theLightsheet Z.1 can be divided into two parts. Onedeals with the actual assembly of hardwarecomponents of the incubation modules and theirconnections to the system. The second part dealswith the registration of the incubation modulesusing specific software tools.3.7.1 Heating ComponentsThere are two different heating components available: (1) Heating Block Sample ChamberLightsheet Z.1 enables to heat the sample chamber from ambient temperature to 42 °C. (2) PeltierblockSample Chamber Lightsheet Z.1 permits heating and cooling of the sample chamber in the range from10 °C to 42 °C.(1) Heatingblock Sample Chamber Lightsheet Z.1 is controlled by the TempModule S1 providingelectrical power supply and closed-loop temperature control. The system allows to heat the samplechamber from ambient temperature to 42 °C.Connect the Heating Block LSFM and the TempModule S via connecting cable.
