To restore the default for each queue’sminimum bandwidth value, use the no form of this command.Syntaxcos-queue min-bandwidthbw-0 bw-1 …bw-nno cos-queue min-bandwidth•bw-0 — Specifies the minimum transmission bandwidth guarantee for aninterface. You must specify as many bandwidth parameters as there areCOS queues (bw-0 through bw-n). (Range: 0–100 in increments of 5)Default ConfigurationBy default, all CoS queues are configured with a 0% minimum bandwidthguarantee.Command ModeGlobal Configuration mode or Interface Configuration (gigabitethernet,port-channel, tengigabitethernet, fortygigabitethernet) modeUser GuidelinesThe maximum number of queues supported per interface is seven. It isrecommended that the operator avoid the use of queue 5-7 in order to avoidconflicts with inter- and intra-network control traffic. In order to better accommodate bursty traffic, it is recommended that thesum of the configured min-bandwidths be much less than 100%. Configuringthe minimum bandwidths such that they sum to 100% effectively locks thescheduler such that bandwidth sharing by lower priority queues cannot beaccommodated under congestion conditions.
