Operation Manual – Routing ProtocolH3C S7500 Series Ethernet Switches Chapter 7 IP Routing Policy Configuration7-3z When a routing protocol imports the routes discovered by other protocols, itadopts routing policies to import those routes meeting the given conditions. In addition, routing policies can also be used to change some route attributes.7.2 IP Routing Policy ConfigurationThe configuration of routing policy falls into two parts: filter configuration andapplication of routing policy.1) Filter configuration includes:z Route-policyz ACLz IP prefix listz AS path listz Community attribute listNote:Refer to the ACL module in this operation manual for ACL configuration.2) Routing policies are used for:z Importing routes;z Advertising or receiving routes.7.2.1 Configuring a Route PolicyA route-policy comprises multiple nodes. Each node is a unit for matching test, andthe nodes will be matched by their sequence numbers. Each node comprises a set of if-match and apply clauses.z The if-match clauses define matching rules. The relationship among theif-match clauses for a node is logical “AND”. That is, a matching test against anode is successful only when all the matching conditions specified by theif-match clauses are satisfied.z The apply clauses specify the actions performed after a matching test againstthe node is successful, that is, configure some attributes of routing information.I. Define a route-policyFollow these steps to define a route-policy:
