The Adaptec SCSI Card is set at 7, which gives it thehighest priority on the SCSI bus. We recommend that you donot change this setting. SCSI Controller Parity—(Default: Enabled) SCSI cards performparity checking to verify the accuracy of data transfer on theSCSI bus. Most currently available SCSI devices support paritychecking. However, if a device on the SCSI bus does not supportparity checking, disable this option. This setting changes parityfor the entire SCSI controller and the way it looks at each ID onthat controller. You cannot mix devices that do and do notsupport parity checking on the same SCSI bus. SCSI Controller Termination—(Default: Automatic)Determines the termination setting for the SCSI card. Thedefault setting is Automatic, which allows the SCSI card toadjust the termination as needed. We recommend that you donot change this setting.
