Protective and Diagnostic Functions7- 13 Operation ErrorsAn operation error will occur if there is an invalid setting or a contradiction between two constant settings. Itwon't be possible to start the Inverter until the constants have been set correctly. (The alarm output and faultcontact outputs will not operate either.)When an operation error has occurred, refer to the following table to identify and correct the cause of theerrors.Table 7.3 Operation Error Displays and Incorrect SettingsDisplay Meaning Incorrect settingsIncorrect InverterCapacity SettingThe Inverter capacity setting doesn't match the Unit. (Contact your Yaskawa repre-sentative.)Constant Setting RangeErrorThe constant setting is outside of the valid setting range.Press the ENTER Key on the Digital Operator to display OPE fault constant (U1-34).Multi-function InputSelection ErrorOne of the following errors has been made in the multi-function input (H1-01 to H1-06) settings:• The same setting has been selected for two or more multi-function inputs.• An up or down command was selected independently. (They must be usedtogether.)• The up/down commands (10 and 11) and Accel/Decel Ramp Hold (A) wereselected at the same time.• Speed Search 1 (61, maximum output frequency) and Speed Search 2 (62. set fre-quency) were selected at the same time.• The up/down commands (10 and 11) were selected while PID Control MethodSelection (b5-01) was enabled.• Positive and negative speed commands have not been set at the same time.• The emergency Stop Command NO and NC have been set at the same time.• Deceleration at momentary power loss (KEB) command (65 or 66) and High-slipbraking (HSB) (68) were selected at the same time.Option Board SelectionErrorThe option board was selected as the frequency reference source by setting b1-01 to3, but an option board isn't connected (C option).Control Method Selec-tion Error1 (V/f with PG) was selected in A1-02, but a PG Speed ControlBoard isn't connected.Multi-function AnalogInput Selection ErrorThe same setting has been selected for the analog input selection and the PID func-tion selection.• H3-09 = B and H6-01 = 1• H3-09 = C and H6-01 = 2b1-01 (Reference Selection) is set to 4 (pulse input) and H6-01 (Pulse Train InputFunction Selection) is set to a value other than 0 (frequency reference).H3-13 (Terminal A1/A2 switching) is set to 1 and H3-09 is set to other than 2 or.Constant SelectionErrorA setting has been made that is not required in the current control method. Ex.: Afunction used only with open-loop vector control was selected for V/f control.Press the ENTER Key on the Digital Operator to display OPE fault constant (U1-34).PID Control SelectionErrorThe following settings have been made at the same time.• b5-01 (PID Control Method Selection) has been set to a value other than 0.• b5-15 (PID Sleep Function Operation Level) has been set to a value other than 0.• b1-03 (Stopping Method Selection) has been set to 2 or 3.or 3 (Flux vector)or H3-05or H3-05H3-05 is set to 0 or 2The same value is set to H3-05 and H3-09.
