3 -4ModesThis section describes the Inverter's modes and switching between modes. Inverter ModesThe Inverter's user constants and monitoring functions are organized in groups called modes that make it eas-ier to read and set user constants. The Inverter is equipped with 5 modes. The 5 modes and their primary functions are shown in the Table 3.2.* Always perform autotuning with the motor before operating using vector control. Autotuning mode will not be displayed during operation or when an errorhas occurred. The factory setting of the Inverter is A1-02 = 0 for V/f control.Table 3.2 ModesMode Primary function(s)Drive modeThe Inverter can be run in this mode.Use this mode when monitoring values such as frequency references or output cur-rent, displaying fault information, or displaying the fault history.Quick programming mode Use this mode to reference and set the minimum user constants to operate theInverter (e.g., the operating environment of the Inverter and Digital Operator).Advanced programming mode Use this mode to reference and set all user constants.Verify mode Use this mode to read/set user constants that have been changed from their factory-set values.Autotuning mode*Use this mode when running a motor with unknown motor constants in the vectorcontrol method. The motor constants are calculated and set automatically. This mode can also be used to measure only the motor line-to-line resistance.
