Protective and Diagnostic Functions7- 15 Errors During AutotuningThe errors that can occur during autotuning are given in the following table. If an error is detected, the motorwill coast to a stop and an error code will be displayed on the Digital Operator. The error contact output andalarm output will not function.Table 7.4 Errors During AutotuningDisplay Meaning Probable causes Corrective ActionsMotor data errorThere is an error in the data input forautotuning. There is an error in the relationshipbetween the motor output and the motorrated current. The is an error between the no-load cur-rent setting and the input motor ratedcurrent (when autotuning for only line-to-line resistance is performed for vectorcontrol).• Check the input data.• Check the capacity of the Inverter andmotor.• Check the motor rated current and no-load current.Alarm A minor fault occurred during autotun-ing (xxx). • Check the input data.• Check wiring and the machine.• Check the load.STOP key input The STOP Key was pressed to cancelautotuning.Line-to-line resis-tance error Autotuning was not completed in thespecified time. The results of autotuning has exceededthe setting range for a user constant.• Check the input data.• Check the motor wiring.• If the motor is connected to themachine, disconnect it.No-load current errorRated slip errorAcceleration error(detected only forrotational autotuning)The motor did not accelerate in the spec-ified time.• Increase C1-01 (Acceleration Time 1).• Increase L7-01 and L7-02 (ReverseTorque Limits) if they are low.• If the motor is connected to themachine, disconnect it.Motor DirectionErrorThere is a faulty connection between theInverter and PC (A or B phase) or theInverter and Motor (U, V, or W).• Check the PG wiring.• Check the motor wiring.• Check the PG rotation direction andF1-05 (PG rotation).Motor speed error(detected only forrotational autotuning)The torque reference was too high(100%) during acceleration (for open-loop vector control only).• If the motor is connected to themachine, disconnect it.• Increase C1-01 (Acceleration Time 1).• Check the input data (particularly thenumber of PG pulses and the numberof motor poles).Current detectionerrorThe current flow exceeded the motorrated current. Check the current detection circuit, motor wiring, current detector, andinstallation methods. The detected current sign was the oppo-site of what it should be.There is a phase fault for U, V, or W.Leakage inductanceerrorAutotuning was not completed in thespecified time. Check the motor wiring.
