Version: 1.11 Function Reference 8921 2-TONEThe transceiver supports 2-tone signaling.2-tone is a pair of 2 different tones. A user can use 2-tone signaling to make an individual call.The 2-tone signalling is a series of different tones (or onetone ) having frequencies between 288.5 and 3106.0 Hz.Note: This function is available only in Conventional Group.21.1 Transmitting 2-toneA user can transmit 2-tone in a Conventional Group. Theuser can select the Encode Tone from the EncodeMemory List by pressing the PF 2-tone key. Press thePTT switch after selecting the tone to transmit.! Transceiver operation1. Press the PF 2-tone key.The minimum List number appears immediatelyafter the transceiver is turned ON. Otherwise, thepreviously selected List number appears.2.
