If a user transmits on a channel while othergroups are using that channel, the user may interfere withtheir communications. This function prevents suchinterference.The “BUSY” icon appears on the main display if the PTTswitch is pressed while this function is enabled. In thiscase, the transceiver emits the Warning Tone and doesnot transmit.
