You can configure theScrambler code for the Scrambler function using theoptional Voice Scrambler board.! Configuration using KPG-89D• Configuring the Scrambler Code (Refer to FPRG6.6.17 Scrambler Code.)17.3 Home RepeaterYou can configure the following functions to the LTRTrunking System using KPG-89D.• Area Code• Home Repeater• Repeater Information Table17.3.1 Area CodeThis function prevents interference from adjacentsystems. The Area Code is normally configured to “0”.When the transceiver suffers from interference, configurethe Area Code of one system to 0 and the adjacentsystem to 1.You can configure the Area Code using KPG-89D.! Configuration using KPG-89D• Configuring the Area Code (Refer to FPRG 6.4.1Area Code.)17.3.2 Home RepeaterThe Home Repeater is used to receive variousinformation from the LTR Trunking system. Thetransceiver automatically responds to the repeater suchas transmitting/receiving data, and Trunkout via thisrepeater. You can also transmit/receive using the Home Repeaterwhen the Home Repeater is available. The Home Repeater provides the Repeater Number tothe user while other parties use the Home Repeater. Thereceiving party’s transceiver moves to the TrunkoutRepeater to receive. You can configure the Home Repeater using KPG-89D.! Configuration using KPG-89D• Configuring the Home Repeater (Refer to FPRG6.4.2 Home Repeater.)17.3.3 Repeater Information TableIn LTR Trunking system, the transceiver communicatesvia a repeater. You can configure a maximum of 20 Repeaters’information to the Repeater Information Table for eachZone. You can configure the following functions for the RepeaterTable Information using KPG-89D.Table 17-2 Repeater Information Table Configuration!
