USER’S GUIDE50 CyberSWITCHTHE CSX1200-U4-MODThe CSX1200-U4-MOD is a U-interface option card for the CSX1200 family. This module is onlyrelevant for applications in North America, since North American telephone companies typicallydo not provide the needed U-interface conversion. The CSX1200-U4-MOD performs the functionof an external NT1, and is available for the BRI (1201, 1204) CSX1200 models. Below, we show themodule installed in a CSX1223.The module consists of four pairs of numbered RJ45 ports. To activate the installed module, youmust properly connect the CSX1200 BRI ports to the corresponding S/T interface ports on the U4module.
