IfDIP switches 6 to 8 are in the OFF position, the automatic baud rate detec-tion function, as described in CiA801, will be enabled. If the gateway is in themiddle of automatically detecting the baud rate, the ST LED will flash red/green and the gateway will adopt the field bus master's baud rate. Baudrates of 100 kBaud and 800 kBaud can only be set using automatic baud ratedetection, i.e., they cannot be set using the DIP switches.Cyclical CAN frames need to be sent on the field bus in order for the baudrate to be detected successfully.
