29.3.1.8 Bulk EraseThe Bulk Erase (BE) command erases the entire contents of flash memory, ignoring anyprotected sectors or flash security. Flash security is disabled upon successful completionof the BE command.Attempts to issue a BE command while the BEDIS and FS bits are set results in the WEFflag being set in the EzPort status register. Also, this command is not accepted if theWEF or WIP bit is set or if the WEN bit is not set in the EzPort status register.29.3.1.9 EzPort Reset ChipThe Reset Chip (RESET) command forces the chip into the reset state. If the EzPort chipselect (EZP_CS) pin is asserted at the end of the reset period then EzPort is enabled;otherwise, it is disabled. This command allows the chip to boot up from flash memoryafter it has been programmed by an external source. This command is not accepted if the WIP bit is set in the EzPort status register.29.3.1.10 Write FCCOB RegistersThe Write FCCOB Registers (WRFCCOB) command allows the user to write to the flashcommon command object registers and execute any command allowed by the flash.NOTEThe flash is configured in NVM special mode, restricting whichcommands can be executed by the flash when security isenabled. After receiving 12 bytes of data, EzPort writes the data to the FCCOB 0-B registers in theflash and then automatically launches the command within the flash. If greater or lessthan 12 bytes of data is received, this command has unexpected results and may result inthe WEF flag being set. This command is not accepted if the WEF or WIP bit is set or if the WEN bit is not set inthe EzPort status register.Chapter 29 EzPortK51 Sub-Family Reference Manual, Rev. 6, Nov 2011Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. 689
