Switch Management Commands 1862Command Line ConfigurationScripting CommandsThe Configuration Scripting feature allows the user to generate text-formatted files representing the current system configuration. Theseconfiguration script files can be uploaded to a computer and edited, thendownloaded to the system and applied to the system. This feature allows theflexibility of creating command configuration scripts that can be applied toseveral switches with minor or no modifications.Commands applied from a script are additive in nature. That is, they modify,but do not automatically replace the current configuration. Any validcommand can be placed in a script, including show commands.Scripts execute in Privileged Exec mode.
