USER’S GUIDE154 CyberSWITCHThe following table identifies the configuration requirements for possible security options for PPPIP Devices.*Required: An IP address is required if the remote device does not support IP address negotiation.When the remote device does support IP address negotiation, an IP address is not required.Note: If CHAP Security is enabled, and Outbound Authentication has not been disabled, a CHAPSecret must be entered for both the remote device and for the CyberSWITCH. Refer toSystem Information for information regarding the System Secret.
