Once enabled, the system includes the trace messages in the memory-resident report log. To access this log, use the following commands:dr ords display reports or display statisticser ores erase current messages/statistics from memorywr orws write reports/statistics to diskWhen the system writes system messages to disk, it stores them in the following locations:Directory: \logFile Name: rprt_log.nn(where “nn” is an integer that is incremented each time a new file iswritten.)The system reports messages using the following format:Where:• The Message Type quickly identifies the type of message the system reports.• The Time identifies when the message was reported.• The Report Number is used by your Distributor or Cabletron Customer Support.• The Message text describes the actual message being reported.Below, there is a separate section included for each category of trace messages.
