Enter theip rip interface administrative console command. Look for the BroadcastAddress value. This is the IP address of the router that the RIP messages are sent to.If the address is not the correct address for the Router, correct the transmit broadcast addressfor the interface using CFGEDIT. Refer to page 380 for instructions regarding checking theaddress.3. Enter theip rip stats administrative console command. Look for the IfStatSentResponsescounter for the interface, which shows the number of RIP update messages sent on theinterface.If the counter is 0, enter theip rip send administrative console command to force the RIPupdate message to be sent immediately.4.
